Community Service Opportunities

The college grant program was created to assist all graduating seniors as well as all college students who have previously graduated from Hancock Central High School with tuition.  The grants are need based but strict criteria must be followed for the student to receive a grant including academic achievement.  The student must follow a procedure that requires approval by the government for grants, by the school the student is attending and proof that the student has applied to at least three other sources of funding before the application is accepted by the foundation.  The foundation has awarded a total of $420,750 in grants to graduating seniors and college students, from 2000 through 2011.  A monumental achievement for a small, impoverished community in rural America. The Hancock Education Foundation is a A Chapter of Dollars for Scholars. View links for grants, aid, information, loans & other resources by clicking here.
